Location & work schedule
- Quantico, VA 22134
- This position is located on-site in Quantico, VA. There are no remote or hybrid opportunities available.
Clearance requirement
Must hold an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Run and review vulnerability scans using tools such as ACAS/Nessus
- Identify vulnerable servers, workstations, network devices and applications
- Analyze scan results and determine severity and remediation priority
- Work with system administrators and engineers to track vulnerabilities through remediation
- Verify that patches or configuration changes successfully resolved the vulnerability
- Support continuous monitoring and cybersecurity compliance
- Track aging vulnerabilities and escalate overdue critical/high findings
- Produce vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- 7 years of relevant IT / Cybersecurity experience
- Strong vulnerability management experience
- Windows / Linux patch management experience
- RMF and continuous monitoring
Education and certification requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Security+ Certification
Preferred education
- Bachelor's Degree in related IT field such as:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems
- Cybersecurity
- Data Science or Analytics
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 annually. The final starting salary will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and work location (where applicable), as well as internal equity and market considerations.
