VSP Physician Collaborator

About the role

We are excited to offer the role of Virtual Physician Collaborator for CenterWell Medical Group, a new virtual care delivery group within CenterWell Senior Primary Care, Humana's Primary Care Organization. This group will provide virtual wraparound services to support patients when they cannot get in with their own PCP – closing gaps in care, ensuring timeless access to important medications and solving urgent clinical needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular chart review and coordinate monthly meetings
• Be available as a resource for the advanced practice provider to ensure quality patient care
• Collaborate with clinical leaders about quality of care, review of outcome data, procedure, and records issues

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Mississippi
• Active practice medicine in the state of Mississippi in a physical capacity
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university
• Board certification or board eligible
• 2+ years telemedicine/telehealth experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Collaborating Physician

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 1
Pay Range: $310,000 - $368,500 per year
