VSC Senior Analyst

What You'll Do

• Contribute to client cases, workshops, and proposals by performing financial analyses such as shareholder return analysis (TSR), corporate valuation, and financial benchmarking.
• Build financial models to analyze the capital markets impact of strategic plans, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and financial policies (e.g., debt issuance, dividend policy change).
• Share topic/sector acumen and points of view more broadly within the firm.
• Partner with BCG teams, managers, and project leaders to generate insights pertinent to the financial characteristics and aspects of clients, integrate analysis efforts into proposals/projects, and create high quality presentations for clients.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree, with high academic achievement required and 1-2+ years of relevant work experience in corporate finance, investing, and/or consulting.
• Demonstrated interest in corporate finance and valuation.
• Strong work ethic and client service mentality.
• Collaborative, team player approach.
• Strong mathematics and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Flexibility and a curious, creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas.
