VP, Travel A&H Counsel [NYC, NJ, CT]

Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal advisor to the Travel Insurance business.
• Advise on insurance regulatory, compliance, and Department of Insurance matters.
• Partner with underwriting, product, operations, and business leadership.
• Review and support travel insurance products throughout their lifecycle.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• J.D. and admitted to at least one U.S. Bar.
• 6-10+ years of legal experience, including direct Travel Insurance experience.
• P&C insurance experience (carrier or law firm).
• Strong knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance matters.
• Excellent business counseling and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: Up to $260k
• Bonus: 20% Target
