About LOVB (League One Volleyball) League One Volleyball (LOVB) is reimagining women's sports. Launched in 2019, our company is a mission-led sports performance, training and media enterprise that will change the game of volleyball in the USA and empower new generations of female athletes. It is a groundbreaking time for volleyball in the US with our historic triple Olympic Gold medals in Women's Indoor, Beach and Sitting Volleyball. Volleyball is already the #1 most played girls' youth sport. There are 38M current and former players today. Of major sports, it's the only one that is women-first (~90% of players are female). But the volleyball market has been almost entirely missed by traditional sports investors, brands, and media. LOVB is capturing this opportunity by creating a strong club business, and from that built-in audience and fandom, is creating the best Pro League in the world and a digital ecosystem that will connect all aspects of LOVB. This community-up approach will drive participation and fandom, while enabling greater empowerment for girls and young women living this amazing sport. In this role, you will join a mission-driven, roll-up-your-sleeves team of innovators and builders who have come together to change the paradigm of professional volleyball and women’s sports. Built from the grassroots up through a network of junior volleyball clubs, LOVB Miami is part of the only professional league in the United States with a fully integrated youth-to-pro ecosystem. The club is shaping a new vision for professional sports in one of the world’s most dynamic markets, built on elite competition, community, and the advancement of women’s volleyball. LOVB Miami is backed by a best-in-class ownership group of experienced operators and passionate volleyball supporters. We are building the first and greatest women’s sports franchise in Miami, with deep resources, a network second to none, and unmatched ambition to be the best. Our ownership group is committed to a franchise that reflects the culture, energy and diversity of Miami: a cultural anchor of the community and an international beacon for women’s sport with deep connectivity to Latin America. This is a founding role. You will help build a professional sports club from a blank page in one of the most competitive and most international sports markets in the country. The Role The Vice President, Ticketing and Sales owns LOVB Miami’s ticket revenue: strategy, pricing, systems/platforms, team and results. You will build the function from nothing, including hiring the sellers, choosing and configuring the systems and platforms, setting the pricing architecture, converting the existing deposit base, and putting people in seats for the club’s first professional match. The inaugural season is the single most important selling window this club will ever have. Deposits are already being collected. Turning that early interest into a durable season membership base, and then renewing it, is the core of the job. This is a selling leadership role, not an administrative one. You will carry a book of business yourself in year one. What You’ll Own Revenue strategy and planning Own the annual ticket revenue plan, forecast and budget across season memberships, groups, premium and single‑match sales, including comp distribution..Set pricing architecture, seat manifest strategy, package construction and inventory allocation with the venue.Establish dynamic and variable pricing approach appropriate to a first‑year club, with the discipline not to discount away the base.Report revenue performance and pipeline health to club leadership and the league on a defined cadence. Single Day Tickets, Season memberships and retention Convert the existing deposit and priority list into single day buyers and season members, with a clear priority, seat selection and onboarding process.Build the seasonal membership product itself: benefits, tiers, payment plans, seat selection experience and member communications.Own retention and renewal strategy from day one, not from the end of the season.Design a member services model that treats first‑year members as founders of the club. Group sales and community networks Build a group sales program targeting volleyball’s natural constituencies: youth clubs, high school and collegiate programs, camps, tournaments and coaching networks.Develop group products with real experiential value: team nights, on‑court moments, clinics, recognitions, all in partnership with Fan Experience.Establish relationships with Club 305 Volleyball, Game Point Volleyball, and the wider South Florida club and school ecosystem.Build corporate, association, school district, faith and community group channels. Premium and hospitality Develop premium inventory strategy, pricing and service model appropriate to the venue.Sell and service premium accounts, suites and hospitality where inventory exists.Coordinate with Fan Experience on premium space design and matchday delivery. Ticket operations and systems Select, implement and administer the ticketing platform and CRM in coordination with the league and venue, including manifests, holds, kills, comps, access control and reporting.Establish secondary market strategy, transfer and resale policies.Own box office operations on match days, including staffing, will‑call, guest resolution and settlement.Maintain data integrity between ticketing, CRM and the club’s reporting. Team leadership Recruit, train, coach and retain the sales team, and build the sales culture from the first hire.Set activity standards, pipeline management discipline and a coaching rhythm that develops young sellers.Carry a personal book of business in the inaugural season and lead by example on the phone and in the market.Manage departmental budget, commission and incentive structures. Cross‑functional partnership Partner with Fan Experience so that marketing spend, campaign timing and lifecycle communications serve the sales calendar. Marketing will handle digital strategy, but you will work in close collaboration.Work with Business Operations on revenue recognition, reporting, contracts and settlement.Coordinate closely with the league on shared systems, standards and cross‑club best practice. First‑Season Priorities Year one determines the club’s revenue base for years afterward. Priorities include: A motivated sales team in place ahead of the on‑sale window.Ticketing platform and CRM selected, configured, tested and integrated.Pricing, manifest and membership product finalized with the venue.Deposit base converted at or above [X]% into season memberships.Season membership base of [X] accounts and group sales pipeline of [X] before the inaugural match.A renewal process designed and communicated before the first season ends.
