About the role

This is an enterprise-level leadership role responsible for defining and leading the company’s technology, data, and AI partnership strategy. The role reports directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer and will serve as the executive owner of the broader technology and data partnership ecosystem. This is not a traditional channel or alliances sales role. The focus is on partnerships that shape the product, strengthen the company’s data advantage, and extend the reach of the platform. The leader will help determine where the company should build, buy, partner, or potentially acquire capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Set the company-wide strategy for technology, data, platform, integration, and AI partnerships.
  • Identify a focused portfolio of high-impact partnership opportunities that can improve product differentiation, innovation, distribution, and growth.
  • Build trusted C-suite relationships with priority technology platforms, data providers, cloud companies, and emerging AI ecosystems.
  • Originate and negotiate complex, multi-year agreements covering product scope, data rights, intellectual property, economics, investment, exclusivity, and governance.
  • Shape the external data strategy, including data coverage, quality, identity, signals, licensing, and differentiated data products.
  • Influence product and platform strategy by bringing an external ecosystem and market perspective into company investment decisions.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure strategic agreements translate into funded roadmaps, clear ownership, successful launches, and measurable customer adoption.
  • Establish portfolio governance, performance measures, and an operating model that allows the partnership capability to scale.
  • Build and develop a senior, globally effective organization over time.

Why the Role Matters

The company’s advantage depends on connecting high-quality data, identity, and signals with the platforms, data environments, and AI ecosystems where customers already work. These partnerships are viewed as a company-level lever for product innovation, differentiation, distribution, and growth, rather than simply a source of partner-sourced revenue. The successful leader will have significant influence over product direction, ecosystem positioning, investment choices, and how the company creates long-term strategic advantage.

What Success Looks Like

  • In the first 60 days, assess the existing portfolio, market landscape, strategic gaps, team capabilities, active commitments, and role boundaries.
  • By 90 days, develop an executive-ready technology, data, and AI ecosystem strategy with a concentrated set of priority bets, investment choices, executive sponsors, and Product and R&D commitments.
  • Within six months, demonstrate visible progress on consequential partnerships, including signed or late-stage agreements with funded productization paths and clear measures of impact.
  • Within 12 months, establish a focused portfolio producing measurable adoption, distribution, differentiation, and commercial impact, supported by trusted C-suite relationships and a scalable team and operating model.
