Strategy and Vision

Define and drive the long-term strategy for responsible business areas in post trade, their provisioning through shared platforms, and availability as capabilities used across post trade engines in clearing and settlement and elsewhere in the organization as required.

Establish a architecture and delivery roadmap that balances priorities, reduces technical debt, enhances scalability and unlocks developer productivity.

Drive the consolidation of functionalities across projects and promote reuse.

Onboard Broadridge engines and products onto Broadridge’s platform and facilitate and promote the adoption of Broadridge’s integrated platform.

Partner with leaders across technology and the business to align technology investments with the company’s objectives.

Product and Architecture Leadership

Own the architecture and lifecycle of the modules and products as required – ensure they are scalable, secure, reliable and extensible.

Establish standards, patterns, and reference architectures that promote consistency across engineering teams.

Drive modernization initiatives to improve interoperability, performance and maintainability.

Govern the standards, implementation patterns and API interfaces in relevant business areas.

Product and Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with product, engineering, security and operations leaders to prioritise platform and common module investments and capabilities.

Drive the technology roadmap and its realization across relevant business areas.

Interpret business requirements into platform and technology strategies and measurable engineering deliverables and outcomes.

Mediate and manage competing priorities across multiple teams.

Engineering Excellence

Lead the delivery of engine technology, shared modules, libraries, frameworks and services that reduce the footprint, cost of ownership of enterprise engines, and accelerate time to market.

Drive delivery processes, release management and rationalize dependency management across relevant products.

Ensure observability and automation are baked into technology strategy.

Drive continuous improvement leading to gains in efficiency, quality, operating cost and time to market.

Foster cross functional partnerships with product, business and operations stakeholders.

Operational Leadership

Build, lead, mentor and develop high performing engineering leaders, senior technical leaders and engineering teams.

Establish clear organizational structures, roles and ownership models to ensure effective execution.

Lead co-located teams locally and across diverse geographies.

Encourage accountability, cross team collaboration and alignment and engineering excellence.

Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, well-aligned accountability and responsibility, innovation and excellence.

Develop talent pipelines, plan succession and enable career development.

Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.

Pay

Salary Range: 280,000.00 – 300,000.00 USD annual
