VP, Quality

For our client, we are seeking a VP, Quality to join the team of a leader in the Transportation space. This leader will own the quality and inventory control function across a distributed fulfillment network, with a focus on inventory health, process adherence, and operational consistency. The role will partner closely with operations, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to establish clear standards and drive measurable improvement. This is a highly visible opportunity to shape quality practices, strengthen control mechanisms, and influence network-wide performance in a fast-paced environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Oversee inventory health and accuracy across the fulfillment network Establish standards for inventory integrity and reconciliation Implement audit mechanisms for process adherence Develop network metrics to track and enhance inventory health Build a culture of continuous improvement in quality Lead the Quality and Inventory Control organization and manage accountability Serve as the point of escalation for quality and compliance issues Qualifications 12+ years in fulfillment quality, inventory control, or supply chain operations Proven track record in multi-site quality leadership Experience in scaled 3PL, retail, e-commerce, or complex physical operations Expertise in WMS-driven processes and inventory accuracy In-depth knowledge of fulfillment processes and their interdependencies Benefits Leadership role influencing fulfillment strategy Opportunity to build an independent quality function Engagement with cross-functional teams to drive improvement Visibility over network-wide inventory operations Scope to shape quality standards in a fast-paced environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
