VP Project Controls, Data Centers

For our client, we are seeking a VP Project Controls, Data Centers to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This leader will oversee project controls for large-scale data center initiatives, with responsibility for driving disciplined cost, schedule, and performance management. The role will guide a project controls team, partner closely with stakeholders, and help ensure accurate reporting and strong execution across complex capital projects. This is a remote opportunity for an experienced leader who can combine technical project controls expertise with people management and clear communication. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $138,840 – $201,480 annually Responsibilities Oversee a project controls team, assign work, and ensure quality standards are met Provide mentorship on cost estimating methodologies and scheduling techniques Conduct performance reviews and support team development Review and approve cost estimates and monitor project expenditures Prepare reports and communicate timelines to stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related field 8-10 years of experience in project controls, cost management, estimating, or scheduling 2-3 years of experience managing project controls teams Advanced knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and financial analysis Strong proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and cost management tools Benefits 401(k) plan with matching contributions Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Paid parental leave at 100% of salary Paid time off and company holidays Early access to earned wages through Daily Pay Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
