VP Program Manager, Data Centers

For our client, we are seeking a VP Program Manager, Data Centers to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This leader will oversee program management for large-scale data center campus initiatives, with a strong focus on PMO governance, capital program execution, and operational handoffs for mission-critical environments. The role will serve as a key liaison across clients, contractors, and design teams to ensure complex projects are delivered with discipline, transparency, and alignment to critical facility standards. This position also calls for strong financial oversight, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement across a portfolio of high-value programs. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $138,840 – $201,480 annually Responsibilities Lead daily PMO operations for data center campus projects Establish and maintain PMO frameworks and governance structures Serve as the liaison between clients, contractors, and design teams Oversee mission-critical infrastructure project execution Ensure compliance with data center industry standards and client requirements Act as primary client interface, building relationships with stakeholders Manage program budgets and track costs across projects Implement continuous improvement initiatives for PMO effectiveness Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field 12+ years of program/project management experience in data center or mission-critical facility projects Experience leading PMO operations for major capital programs ($100M+ portfolios) Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and supporting MEP systems Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships under high pressure Experience with commissioning processes and operational handovers for critical facilities Demonstrated success in supervising and mentoring technical project teams Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost forecasting Benefits 401(k) plan with matching contributions Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision care Paid parental leave at 100% of salary Paid time off and company holidays Early access to earned wages through Daily Pay Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
