Job Overview
As the VP of Product Management at LPL Financial Corp, you will lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of innovative product roadmaps that enhance financial advisors’ capabilities and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a product vision and strategy aligned with LPL Financial’s business objectives and market opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, establishing clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation and research through development, launch, and post-launch optimization
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and advisor feedback reviews to identify new product opportunities and enhancements
- Translate business needs and user requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Partner with engineering, design, sales, marketing, operations, and compliance teams to support successful product delivery and adoption
- Define and track key performance indicators to assess product performance and guide data-driven decisions
- Manage product budgets, resources, and timelines to support efficient and high-quality delivery
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments impacting financial services
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for the product portfolio with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive product management experience, including 5+ years in a people-leadership role
- Experience leading the strategy, launch, and scaling of complex software products within financial services or FinTech environments
- Experience navigating regulatory and compliance requirements associated with wealth management or investment platforms
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled productivity and development platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar generative AI tools) to support product discovery, requirements definition, and decision-making in a regulated environment

Pay Range
$135,960.00 - $226,600.00
