VP, Privacy

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive privacy strategy aligned with business goals
• Ensure compliance with global privacy laws and lead organizational readiness
• Create and enforce privacy policies and standards across the enterprise
• Lead privacy risk assessments and drive remediation actions
• Develop and implement AI-specific data-handling policies and controls
• Oversee processes for data subject rights and consent management
• Assist in managing responses to privacy incidents and coordinate with security teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or cybersecurity
• Deep knowledge of global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Proven experience building or scaling privacy programs
• Strong understanding of data governance and risk management
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills across all levels
• J.D. from an accredited law school is highly preferred
• Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM are preferred

Pay

$190,000 – $210,000 annually

Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
