VP Powerwash: Car Wash Attendant/Team Member

About the Role

VP Racing is seeking a friendly, hands-on Car Wash Attendant/Team Member to join our team at our VP Powerwash location (2429 W Loop 1604 S San Antonio, TX 78245). This role is about more than washing cars—it’s about delivering a safe, efficient, and exceptional experience for every guest. You’ll guide vehicles through the wash process, maintain equipment and facilities, and help guests understand our wash packages and membership options.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they approach the tunnel and safely guide and load each vehicle according to size
• Use the bug prep gun and perform safety inspections to properly prepare vehicles for the wash process
• Make key adjustments to tunnel equipment as needed; know E-Stop locations and handle tunnel incidents quickly and safely
• Perform vacuum service and maintain the vacuum area for guest satisfaction
• Engage every guest using the 4 Steps of Service, and inform guests about our Single Wash packages and Memberships
• Maintain a clean, organized facility, including equipment, walls, trench, vacuums, trash cans, and lot
• Complete daily shift and close-down checklists to document shift performance
• Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and codes of conduct

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
• Prior customer service or car wash experience a plus, but not required—training provided
• Willing and able to work in all weather conditions (cold, hot, wet, rain, snow)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet, outside, for the full shift
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
