Role Responsibilities
- Manage project intake, prioritization of projects, and capacity planning
- Develop a detailed understanding across elements of priority projects (i.e., procurement status, EPC, Development milestones, and commercial conversations) and enable cross-functional understanding of project blockers
- Implement approach to enhance and communicate project value (e.g., NPV, IRR) early in lifecycle
- Maintain prioritized project list for both Pre-Construction and EPC procurement
- Implement process improvements aligning functions and to ensure projects are ready for FID in a timely manner
- Deploy strategy ensuring equipment allocation optimizes for total lifecycle value
- Ensure preliminary projects have cost estimates and schedules in place, along with strategic partners identified
- Sponsor AI/digital transformation efforts in close coordination with internal functions
Job Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, accounting, finance, project management, or similar field preferred
- PMP certification a plus but not a requirement
- Minimum 15 years experience of business experience including quantitative assessments
- Minimum 10 years experience including detailed quantitative management of complex business function
- Minimum 5 years experience in senior management level position leading a quantitative business function
- Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and Teams. Intermediate level Excel experience is required, including pivot tables, advanced financial formulas, troubleshooting, Index Match, graphs, etc.
- Advanced understanding of running analytics for KPIs to drive decision-making on cost controls, approvals of POs, and negotiations.
- Strong ability to discern high-level topics of importance from detailed data and report in a clear, concise manner to senior leadership.
- Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate on multiple tasks and deliverables among multiple departments.
- Advanced problem-solving skills including ability to identify, troubleshoot, execute, and communicate root causes, variance drivers, risks, and solutions to resolve issues.
- Motivated self-starter and goal-oriented
- Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds.
