Job Summary

CFSB is an OCC-regulated federal savings bank at the forefront of fintech, payments and lending. CFSB is seeking an experienced PMO Manager with experience in the financial services industry to join the Project Management and Transformation team and lead a team of project managers.

About the role

Provide support to enterprise governance program, projects and regulatory initiatives. Manage a team of project managers to provide guidance, support, and resolve issues identified for the team. Manage project intake and prioritization process as well as resource allocation across competing initiatives. Promote project manager growth and development. Drive consistency and implement best practices across a team of project managers. Facilitate working group and steering committee meetings by leading discussions, challenging stakeholders, establishing accountability and driving consensus among stakeholders. Oversee creation of project artifacts to ensure project managers are tracking deliverables and are successful in the delivery of the project. Manage the annual project and budget planning process; drive reporting on initiatives status, risks, and achievements. Communicate clearly with senior management and stakeholders, escalating issues appropriately, and providing recommendations for mitigation and resolution. Promote organizational culture and work to improve the overall health of the organization through employee engagement, collaboration, and values alignment. Provide an oversight of team projects and individual performances.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a financial institution.
  • PMP preferred.
  • Experience in managing a team of project managers.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Visio.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project stakeholders from diverse functional areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Able to adapt to a growing company and shift priorities as needed.
  • Able to work independently as well as being a team player.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a financial institution.
  • PMP preferred.

Skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience in managing a team of project managers.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Visio.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and expectations.
  • Experience leading project stakeholders from diverse functional areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a growing company and shift priorities as needed.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
