About the role
The VP of Technology at Globant is a strategic leadership role focused on driving technology excellence, client growth, and delivery across key banking accounts.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technology strategy and delivery for assigned Financial Services accounts
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
- Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities and leading solution design as the solution owner
- Ensure the quality, scalability, and technical excellence of all engagements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Engage with Enterprise Architects and global technology leaders across presales and delivery phases
- Lead strategic planning initiatives, defining priorities, roadmaps, and timelines aligned with business and financial goals
- Oversee complex, global, full-lifecycle technology programs, ensuring successful execution
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, including timeline, budget, and team performance
- Drive delivery of high-quality outcomes aligned with client expectations and SLAs
- Identify and mitigate delivery and operational risks, ensuring proactive resolution
Requirements
- Proven experience in technology leadership roles within Financial Services
- Deep domain expertise in one or more of the following: Corporate Banking, Payments, Global Markets, Retail Banking
- Strong experience engaging with Enterprise Architecture teams and global stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, complex, global delivery programs
- Strong commercial mindset, with experience driving growth and identifying new business opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience working across distributed global teams (including LATAM and India)
Qualifications
- Preferred location: New York metropolitan area
- Expected to be on client site ~3 days per week
- Willingness to travel across the U.S. and collaborate with global teams in Latin America and India
