DoorLoop is redefining property management software as the AI-native operating platform for innovative property management teams. With offices in Miami, New York City, and Tel Aviv, we’re a global company helping property owners and managers move faster, scale smarter, and get real support, real fast. We’re proudly People First. That’s why we’re a Certified Great Place to Work, recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Startup Employers (2024 & 2025), and highly rated on Glassdoor.

DoorLoop is hiring a VP of Sales to lead our sales organization, including sales managers and centralized enablement. This is a hands-on, builder-operator role for someone who can create a repeatable upmarket motion focused on complex, multi-stakeholder deals while protecting and improving a high-performing inbound SMB engine. This is not a strategy-only seat. You will be expected to get in the weeds to diagnose funnel breakpoints, run strict operating cadences, coach managers and reps, and build durable systems inside a fast-moving environment. This is a career-defining role for someone looking to take our extremely high-performing sales organization to the next level as we expand upmarket.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale the upmarket motion from scratch
    • Design and own the upmarket motion end-to-end, including process, pipeline, forecasting, hiring, and deal inspection.
    • Coach and develop a new upmarket manager and team.
    • Scale the upmarket team from initial hire through a repeatable hiring and onboarding model.
    • Build predictable pipeline through targeted inbound, outbound, ABM, and event-driven programs.
  • Define and enforce standards for complex, multi-stakeholder sales
    • Establish clear stage definitions and stage-exit evidence.
    • Enforce executive engagement and multi-stakeholder deal strategies.
    • Run a rigorous weekly forecast cadence with tight commit standards.
  • Improve deal quality across segments
    • Strengthen qualification, discovery, and deal forecasting accuracy.
    • Improve monetization execution across deals, measured by improving plan mix, average deal size, commercial term strength, and add-on attachment.
  • Protect and improve the inbound SMB engine
    • Drive measurable improvements in KPIs such as demo show rate, account conversion, and average deal size.
    • Improve execution without disrupting velocity or throughput.
  • Raise execution quality through coaching and enablement
    • Enforce a consistent coaching rhythm across managers and reps, including weekly 1:1s and outcome-driven coaching themes.
    • Lead centralized sales enablement by coaching a newly promoted enablement manager and prioritizing high-leverage programs, tooling, and systems.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support execution
    • Lead a sales management organization with three managers, each owning a segment.
    • Partner closely with RevOps for reporting, tooling, and instrumentation across our funnel and best-in-class GTM technology stack.
    • Work closely with Marketing and the CMO to ensure demand generation and the GTM operating plan are performing as expected.

Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership at scale
    • Built and led a sales organization of ~20 sellers or fewer (or equivalent complexity), then scaled it to 50+ without access to perfect systems or unlimited resources.
    • Strong track record across both high-velocity SMB sales and complex upmarket deals.
    • Strong track record across inbound, outbound, channel, and event-driven sales motions.
    • Demonstrated forecasting discipline and deal inspection rigor.
  • Data-driven, hands-on operator
    • Highly data-literate, able to translate funnel mechanics into clear corrective action.
    • Comfortable self-serving data and insights, including building reports in Salesforce, listening to demos in Gong, analyzing call data in Outreach, and using other tooling to diagnose performance.
  • Builder mindset in fast-moving environments
    • Thrives in ambiguity, rapid prioritization shifts, and operating without clean lanes.
    • Founder-compatible: able to engage with strong opinions and fast change without ego or intimidation.
    • Proven experience launching and enabling new go-to-market motions.
  • Exceptional people leader and coach
    • Known as a talent magnet with a track record of building career-accelerating sales organizations.
    • Strong coaching instincts with low ego and high standards.
    • History of inheriting high-performing teams and earning trust across levels and experience.
  • Relentless operator with first-principles thinking
    • Incredibly high energy with a relentless work ethic and deep obsession with the mission.
    • Brings a beginner’s mind to problem-solving, questioning assumptions while valuing institutional knowledge and business-specific nuance.
    • Comfortable navigating healthy conflict and trading priorities.
    • Able to context-switch seamlessly between SMB customers and executive stakeholders.

This role is probably not for you if:

  • You have primarily worked at large companies with heavy support layers and highly specialized functions.
  • You default to strategy but struggle to clearly explain the mechanics behind performance and results.
  • You prefer clean lanes, slow cycles, or protected focus time to function. Frequent context switching should be considered a feature of this role, not a bug.
  • You have been successful but cannot point to the specific drivers behind outcomes in a given situation. You want to drive results, not be carried by the tide.
  • You want to be a passive operator of an established system rather than a revenue architect who builds and operates high-performing organizations.

Benefits

  • Unlimited paid time off: take unlimited personal, sick, and vacation days.
  • 401(k): plan for retirement with 4% matching and instant vesting.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance: we offer full medical coverage for employees through United Healthcare and full dental and vision coverage through Guardian, with 25% coverage for dependents across all plans.
  • Life insurance: $100,000 policy fully covered by DoorLoop.
  • Disability insurance: short- and long-term disability insurance fully covered by DoorLoop.
  • Paid parental leave: paid maternity and paternity leave for birth and adoption.
  • Best-in-class equipment: Get a company laptop and all the top-tier tools to set you up for success.

Pay

The salary range for this position is a base salary of $225,000 + a variable. This range represents the base salary the company is prepared to offer for this role, aligned with market data and our internal compensation practices. A candidate’s placement within this range will depend on their experience, qualifications, and location.
