About the Role

The Vice President of Revenue Strategy is responsible for leading revenue optimization initiatives across a diverse hotel portfolio by partnering closely with Ownership, Operations, and Sales leadership teams to drive profitability, market share growth, and overall business performance. This role provides strategic guidance to ownership groups and corporate executives through regular performance reviews, data-driven recommendations, and property-specific insights. The VP develops and executes pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies, analyzes market trends and competitive dynamics, and identifies opportunities to maximize revenue across all channels. Additionally, the position plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, RFP processes, owner reporting, and revenue strategy education, while fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation in alignment with Remington's core guiding principles: Be Ethical, Profitable, Innovative, Tenacious, and Engaging.

Hotel Portfolio: Oversight of multiple Area Directors of Review Strategy for hotels across the United States (70%) and the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region (30%). Ability to effectively support and adapt to the operational, sales, and strategic needs of hotels throughout the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Ownership, Operations, and Sales leadership to address concerns for a hotel and work collectively to resolve them.
  • Present to Owners on a monthly, quarterly, yearly basis, and as needed, particularly in the growing CALA region.
  • Provide specific property insight to the corporate executive team.
  • Maximize total revenues and market share index through developing pricing, restrictions, mix of sales, and channel visibility.
  • Test and measure all rate strategies to drive Revenue Performance Index (RPI) growth weekly, monthly, and yearly.
  • Analyze data to interpret market trends, market dynamics, strategy changes, and optimum mix of sales.
  • Lead by example through Remington’s five essential guiding principles: Be Ethical, Profitable, Innovative, Tenacious, and Engaging.
  • Participate and present in company-wide calls.
  • Monitor parity across a portfolio of hotels.
  • Monitor competitive pricing across all channels and products.
  • Assist the team in understanding and applying the dynamics of local markets and demand generators.
  • Assist as needed in the yearly RFP process.
  • Assist as needed in the yearly budgeting process and goal-setting process.
  • Assist as needed in reporting to ownership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Revenue Management Experience.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to build relationships among team members and across brand, corporate, and property levels.
  • Knowledge about various Revenue Management systems, processes, and support resources.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating with ownership, upper management, and corporate executive teams.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and efficient time management skills.
  • Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.
  • Ability to satisfy the legal requirements for employment within the jurisdiction.
  • Experience managing an international portfolio is required.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish. Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish is ideal but not required.

Pay

Bonus: Up to 35% annual incentive plan tied to performance metrics.
