VP of Operations – Insurance (Denver, CO)

An established and growing insurance firm in Denver, Colorado is looking for a VP of Operations to play a critical leadership role in scaling the business. This is a broad, hands-on operator position for someone who enjoys building infrastructure, improving processes, integrating businesses & technology, managing teams and sitting at the executive table whilst working across every part of an organization. The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership with insurance-industry experience and is comfortable moving between strategy and execution. Experience with Applied Epic is highly desirable. This is a hybrid or full time role in Denver, Colorado Responsibilities Operations: Lead day-to-day operations, build scalable processes, establish KPIs and drive efficiency, profitability and service improvements.Leadership: Partner with executives to translate strategy into execution and serve as a cross-functional business leader.Vendors: Manage key vendors, including selection, negotiation, performance and optimization.Infrastructure: Oversee back-office functions, systems and processes supporting growth, including finance, administration, compliance and technology.M&A: Lead operational due diligence and post-acquisition integration, coordinating systems, processes, people and data.Data & Technology: Drive systems integration, automation, reporting and technology initiatives that support scale.Applied Epic experience strongly preferred, particularly implementations, integrations, data migration or process optimization.
