VP of Operations

Position Overview

The VP of Operations will lead the day-to-day operational management of data center facilities, focusing on efficiency, security, and service quality. They will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for facility growth and improvement. The role involves driving operational excellence through process optimization, vendor negotiations, and cost management. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the VP of Operations will manage teams and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to support organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Proven experience (7+ years) in data center operations management, with a successful record of leading teams
• Experience with P&L management and negotiating with vendors to contract signature
• In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, HVAC systems, networking technologies, controls, and physical security protocols
• Strong understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and management best practices
