VP of Finance

About the role

Soni is partnering with a rapidly growing organization seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead and scale its U.S. finance operations. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role spanning accounting, financial reporting, shared services, internal controls, systems, and M&A integration. The VP Finance will partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership while helping build the processes, infrastructure, and team needed to support continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and finance operations across multiple entities
• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Oversee consolidation, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Lead shared services and core accounting functions
• Support project accounting, job costing, and WIP
• Manage external audit and technical accounting matters
• Drive ERP, systems, automation, and process-improvement initiatives
• Lead finance integration for acquisitions
• Partner with senior leadership on financial performance and decision support
• Build and develop a scalable finance organization

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting / finance experience
• Significant finance leadership and team-management experience
• Strong controllership, close, consolidation, and reporting background
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• ERP / finance transformation experience
• M&A or acquisition-integration experience
• Strong business partnership and executive communication skills
• Hands-on, high-ownership leadership style

Preferred Skills

• CPA and/or public accounting background
• Project-based industry experience
• International or multi-entity environment
• Shared-services experience

Pay

$200,000 - $240,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
