VP of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a VP of Finance to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a consumer-facing environment.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to company-wide strategy as a member of the leadership team
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate strategic objectives into budgets and plans
• Hold teams accountable for achieving operating plans and identifying risks
• Advise co-CEOs and CFO on financial implications of major decisions
• Lead financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting and forecasting
• Oversee accounting for accurate financial reporting and compliance
• Drive improvements in finance and business systems to enhance reporting efficiency

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive finance roles, leading FP&A and Accounting functions
• Experience in high-growth environments, ideally venture-backed or private equity-backed
• Proven success in leading finance teams through rapid growth
• Expertise in setting company objectives and translating strategy into operating plans
• Deep understanding of GAAP accounting and financial reporting
• Ability to influence strategy through financial analysis and business partnership
• Experience with implementing or scaling ERP/business systems

Pay

$250,000 – $280,000 annually
