About the role

We’re building the operating system for modern wellness businesses—products that don’t just look good, but actually help studio owners and instructors grow their community, increase revenue, and deliver world-class client experiences. That means sweating the details, questioning assumptions, and delivering tools that are as powerful behind the scenes as they are seamless for the end user.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that enhance the user experience.
• Develop and maintain software components that ensure the platform is scalable and reliable.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the overall health and growth of the Arketa engineering team through mentorship and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of backend technologies including Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for building intuitive and scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
