VP of Final Mile Operations

For our client, we are seeking a VP of Final Mile Operations to join the team of a leader in the Transportation space. This role will provide enterprise-level leadership for final mile, warehouse, and delivery operations across a multi-site network. The VP will be responsible for driving service performance, quality standards, and operational accountability while supporting customer satisfaction and efficient execution. This position also partners closely with field teams and market leaders to strengthen contractor capacity, reduce delivery exceptions, and improve overall network performance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for warehouse and delivery operations Own service performance metrics, including on-time delivery and customer satisfaction Establish and maintain performance and quality standards across all markets Lead operating reviews to ensure accountability and goal achievement Manage performance issues with a disciplined approach to resolution Execute initiatives aimed at reducing damages and delivery exceptions Ensure adequate contractor capacity and compliance across markets Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 10+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments P&L ownership and experience in multi-site operations is essential Experience with independent contractor delivery networks and final mile delivery Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement certification preferred Benefits Eligible for a flexible working environment from major Texas markets Opportunity for regular travel to support field operations across the network Robust professional development and talent management programs Access to comprehensive operational tools and technologies for enhanced performance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
