VP, Measurement & Analytics

Diray Media · Norwalk, CT · 1 mo ago
HybridFull-time

Position Overview

We are seeking a VP of Measurement to own how Diray measures the impact of our clients’ campaigns, and to own the story that measurement tells. This is a client-facing leadership role. You will sit with our client service and strategy teams and direct with clients. You will be the person in the room who can explain what our data says, why it is credible, and what the client should do differently because of it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Facing Measurement Leadership: Serve as Diray’s senior measurement voice with clients, translating attribution and modeling output into clear, defensible explanations of what drove performance, including with sophisticated client-side analytics and marketing science teams.

  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with our Client Strategist, client service, and strategy leads to bring a data-driven point of view into planning conversations, business reviews, and ongoing strategy.

  • New Business Support: Articulate Diray’s measurement approach and differentiation to prospective clients alongside our new business team.

  • Platform Ownership: Own the roadmap for Diray’s proprietary measurement and analytics platform, including what it needs to answer, for which clients, in what order, and the models developed to live inside it.

  • Direction to Data Science and Technology: Direct our data science resources on modeling priorities, validation work, and methodology development, and define what the technology team needs to build and how data needs to be processed to support client facing measurement.

  • Cross Functional Prioritization: Bring measurement priorities into Diray’s leadership team for prioritization alongside our broader technology roadmap.

  • Standard of Rigor: Uphold the validation behind every result we put in front of a client and determine how measurement is best surfaced for each audience, from client facing reporting to the internal views our media teams optimize against.

  • Team Fluency: Build the measurement fluency of our media, strategy, and client service teams, so the data-driven perspective shows up in everyday work.

  • Market Insights: Evaluate emerging measurement approaches and data sources and make recommendations on where we invest.

Qualifications

  • Must Have:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

    • 10+ years of experience in media measurement, marketing science, analytics, or attribution, including time in a client-facing role.

    • Deep working knowledge of media attribution and measurement methodology, with the ability to direct and critique technical work without needing to execute it.

    • Fluency across both television and digital media, particularly where the two need to be measured together.

    • Demonstrated success translating complex analytical output into clear recommendations for senior marketing stakeholders.

    • Experience setting analytical or product direction and partnering with technical teams to deliver it.

    • Comfort operating in an environment where measurement capability is actively evolving.

  • Preferred:

    • Experience at a performance or direct response media agency.

    • Background in media mix modeling, incrementality testing, or multi-touch attribution.

    • Familiarity with retail media and commerce data sources such as Amazon DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud.

    • Experience linking social performance to broader digital performance.

    • Experience presenting methodology to client-side analytics teams or external audiences.
