VP Marketing
The VP of Marketing at Strapi will lead the company's global marketing strategy, demand generation, partnerships, product marketing, brand and content, community and developer marketing, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
About the role
- Owns Strapi's global marketing strategy, including team structure, key performance indicators (KPIs), narrative, and category positioning.
- Drives pipeline through scaled inbound channels, data-driven experimentation, and growth loops.
- Builds and activates a global partner ecosystem to drive co-marketing, joint go-to-market (GTM), and partner-sourced pipeline.
- Translates Strapi's capabilities into sharp positioning and messaging for developers, marketers, and sales.
- Strengthens Strapi's brand as the leading open-source headless CMS across websites, content, and storytelling.
- Grows and leverages Strapi's open-source community as a core acquisition channel, in authentic partnership with Developer Relations (DevRel).
- Aligns tightly with Product, Sales, and Customer Success on launches, pipeline quality, and customer growth.
Requirements
Deeply passionate about marketing for developers, uses AI daily to make team more effective, has been part of leadership teams, curious, proactive, strategic, and has strong execution ability, collaborates with other teams (Product, Sales, Customer Experience, Support, etc.), lives in the US (ideally in the Bay Area), aligned with Strapi's values: Care, Excellence, and Impact.

Our team
- Current Marketing team includes: 1 Product Marketing Manager, 1 Developer Advocate, 1 Content and Social Media Manager (freelancer, 5 days/week), 1 Ecosystem Advocate (freelancer, 2 days/week), 1 Product Advocate, 1 Senior Partner Manager.
- We also work with several agencies and freelancers.

Salary range
The annual hiring range for this position is $250K-$300K. Individual pay will be based on a candidate's skills and experience as they relate to the specific requirements of the role.
