VP, Internal Audit - Finance

Title: Lead Financial Auditor Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 base + bonus Company Summary:A leading financial institution is seeking a VP-level Auditor to join its Finance Audit team in New York. Responsibilities: Lead and execute risk-based audit engagements Assess controls and governance across finance-related processes Identify risks, findings, and opportunities for improvement Partner with stakeholders throughout audit engagements Support audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting Leverage data and analytics to enhance audit effectiveness Qualifications: 5+ years of Internal Audit, External Audit, or Accounting experience Strong accounting and auditing foundation Banking or financial services experience preferred Experience leading audits from planning through reporting Knowledge of U.S. GAAP required CPA or equivalent certification preferred Strong communication skills and collaborative approach 📍 New York, NY (4 days in office)
