VP, Human Resources

For our client, we are seeking a VP, Human Resources to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This senior leadership role will shape the overall people strategy and guide the HR function in support of growth, scale, and organizational effectiveness. The position partners closely with executive leadership to strengthen talent, culture, and workforce planning across the business. It will also help ensure HR programs and practices are aligned with operational needs and long-term objectives. Location: San Diego, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $250,000 – $275,000 annually Responsibilities Develop a global people strategy to support business growth and objectives Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on talent and organizational effectiveness Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations Collaborate with leaders to design scalable organizational structures Implement competitive compensation and benefits programs in partnership with executive leadership and finance Lead workforce planning and organizational transformations Establish HR metrics to guide decision-making and program effectiveness Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 10+ years of progressive HR experience with leadership responsibility 7+ years leading HR teams in fast-paced, growing environments Proven hands-on leadership in strategic and operational HR functions; start-up experience is beneficial Strong knowledge of US employment laws and HR compliance Experience managing global HR programs and international employees Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Company-paid life and AD&D insurance and disability coverage Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for well-being support Discretionary paid time off and company-paid holidays Parental leave for new child care 401(k) plan with pre-tax and Roth options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
