The VP, Global Marketing will set the global marketing strategy, deepen engagement with existing accounts, accelerate demand for GLG's products and services, and position the business to capture the next wave of fast-growing companies. This role is for a leader who will transform GLG's marketing capabilities into a center of excellence, driving creativity, innovation, and effectiveness to ensure Marketing is a strategic partner to the business. The pace is that of a growth-stage company, and the VP will shape the next chapter of GLG’s communication and value proposition in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Set the overall marketing strategy and own revenue outcomes: develop marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, own marketing-sourced pipeline contribution, and collaborate with Commercial leadership on OKRs, MQL/SQL definitions, and review cadences.
  • Lead the transformation of GLG's AI-powered marketing, including personalization at scale, generative content, and intent signals, establishing the foundation for an intelligent, scalable marketing organization.
  • Lead a high-performing global marketing organization, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability, deep customer and competitive intelligence, and ensuring integration of technology and tools.
  • Architect integrated campaign strategy and drive demand generation, communicating GLG's differentiated value propositions across client segments and leading geo-specific marketers in localizing strategy, messaging, and content.
  • Scale user lifecycle marketing programs to drive engagement, expansion, and retention campaigns in close partnership with Commercial teams and Sales Enablement.
  • Partner with Brand, Communications, and Product Marketing leads to deliver cohesive messaging, brand building, message testing, and collaborate on product launch campaigns that articulate clear use cases and capabilities for each segment and persona.
  • Manage performance and budget, collaborating with Marketing Operations to ensure data-driven decision-making through clear KPIs and ongoing optimization. Work with the CMO to manage global marketing budgets, optimize ROI, and ensure effective resource allocation across channels and regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role inclusive of pipeline/revenue ownership—preferably in B2B research, information services, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability launching and managing AI programs geared toward improving marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Fluency in usage-based or subscription revenue models; experience in two-sided marketplace businesses and/or the research, data, or business information industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and research skills; ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to direct teams and partners toward strategic and creative outcomes.
  • Fluency in core mar-tech tools, including marketing automation, CRM, ABM, and analytics.
  • Highly collaborative and results-oriented; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment.
  • Experience developing marketing capabilities and/or leading team transformation is preferred.

Pay

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is $146,500—$225,000 USD. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
