VP Finance - SAAS Based Company

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s global financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and full P&L ownership.
• Deliver accurate, compelling financial insights and presentations for executives, the Board, investors, and lenders.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, and performance modeling to guide strategic and operational decisions.
• Define, monitor, and drive key SaaS metrics and operational KPIs that promote visibility and accountability across the business.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Data teams to support pricing, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Led all accounting and controllership activities, including daily operations, GAAP compliance, audits, tax oversight, and monthly/quarterly/annual close.
• Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance and accounting team focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
• Optimize NetSuite and related financial systems, leveraging automation and AI to streamline processes and accelerate the financial close.
• Strengthen internal controls and implement scalable, PE-aligned processes that meet public-company-quality standards.
• Support M&A diligence, integration activities, and enterprise-wide scaling efforts.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience across FP&A and accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• MBA strongly preferred; CPA or CFA is a plus
• Experience in private-equity-backed companies preferred
• SaaS or technology industry experience required
• Strong NetSuite expertise
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

Base Salary range for this role is $250,000-300,000 + Equity (No Bonus)
