Responsibilities

• Serve as senior advocate before U.S. Congress, focusing on Armed Services and Defense Appropriations Committees
• Lead strategic execution on the NDAA and appropriations, identifying risks and opportunities
• Translate complex defense and national security policies into actionable strategies
• Build bipartisan relationships with policymakers and interagency counterparts
• Develop comprehensive congressional engagement strategies addressing legislative trends
• Manage advocacy partners and coalitions to enhance the company’s federal influence
• Collaborate across teams to align federal engagement with growth opportunities
• Track legislative changes in defense and technology, providing actionable insights to leadership

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Congress, DoD, or Intelligence with federal legislative experience
• Significant senior congressional credential (staffer, advisor, or member experience preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of defense, intelligence, and national security policy
• Expertise in the NDAA and appropriations process, preferably across defense and technology sectors
• Established relationships with senior Congressional members and national security practitioners

Pay

$212,700 – $374,400 annually
