Responsibilities
- Serve as senior advocate before U.S. Congress, focusing on Armed Services and Defense Appropriations Committees
- Lead strategic execution on the NDAA and appropriations, identifying risks and opportunities
- Translate complex defense and national security policies into actionable strategies
- Build bipartisan relationships with policymakers and interagency counterparts
- Develop comprehensive congressional engagement strategies addressing legislative trends
- Manage advocacy partners and coalitions to enhance the company’s federal influence
- Collaborate across teams to align federal engagement with growth opportunities
- Track legislative changes in defense and technology, providing actionable insights to leadership
Qualifications
- 15+ years in Congress, DoD, or Intelligence with federal legislative experience
- Significant senior congressional credential (staffer, advisor, or member experience preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of defense, intelligence, and national security policy
- Expertise in the NDAA and appropriations process, preferably across defense and technology sectors
- Established relationships with senior Congressional members and national security practitioners

$212,700 – $374,400 annually
