About the role

The VP Engineering, CTO Track position at Pediatric Therapy SaaS is a pivotal role within the company's technology leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the engineering department, ensuring that the company's software solutions meet the needs of its pediatric therapy clients. This role requires a deep understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, as well as strong leadership skills to guide a talented engineering team through complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for engineering growth and innovation
  • Lead the engineering team in delivering high-quality software solutions that align with the company’s vision and mission
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of engineering efforts with business objectives
  • Oversee the technical roadmap, including feature development, infrastructure improvements, and performance optimization
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to software development and deployment
  • Build and maintain a positive, inclusive work environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning among team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years leading a team of engineers
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
  • Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, particularly in healthcare or education settings
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

Pay

Salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 annually
