About the role
ComplyAdvantage is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Financial Crime Analyst. This position will be responsible for identifying and analyzing financial crimes, providing actionable insights to help prevent and mitigate financial risks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on emerging financial crime trends and patterns
- Review and analyze financial transactions for suspicious activity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement anti-money laundering strategies
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior management
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in financial crime analysis or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau or similar software
- Knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and compliance standards
- Experience working with large datasets and conducting statistical analyses
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R programming languages
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling
- Knowledge of blockchain technologies and their implications for financial crime
