About the role

ComplyAdvantage is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Financial Crime Analyst. This position will be responsible for identifying and analyzing financial crimes, providing actionable insights to help prevent and mitigate financial risks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on emerging financial crime trends and patterns
• Review and analyze financial transactions for suspicious activity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement anti-money laundering strategies
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in financial crime analysis or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau or similar software

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and compliance standards
• Experience working with large datasets and conducting statistical analyses
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python or R programming languages
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling
• Knowledge of blockchain technologies and their implications for financial crime

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
