The Sage Group's client is seeking a VP, Creative Director to lead creative strategy, campaign development, and client engagement across multiple accounts. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering insight-driven creative solutions while mentoring creative teams, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to agency growth.
Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Direction
- Define and lead creative strategies aligned with client objectives and agency goals.
- Develop insight-driven, innovative campaigns across multiple client accounts.
- Partner with digital, strategy, and communications teams to create integrated marketing solutions.
- Maintain high creative standards across all deliverables.
- Stay current on emerging creative trends, tools, and platforms.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Lead concept development and execution across:
- Digital
- Social Media
- Paid Media
- Earned Media
- Owned Media
- Ensure all creative assets align with brand strategy and campaign objectives.
- Oversee creative workflows and quality assurance.
- Support project planning, scoping, and resource allocation.
Client Engagement
- Serve as the senior creative advisor for key client accounts.
- Lead client presentations and creative reviews.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
- Contribute to business development pitches and proposal presentations.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop Art Directors and Lead Designers.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative creative culture.
- Support recruitment and development of creative talent.
- Establish creative frameworks and best practices across the organization.
Agency Growth & Thought Leadership
- Represent the agency at industry events and speaking engagements.
- Develop creative methodologies that elevate agency standards.
- Partner with executive leadership to expand creative service offerings.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of creative experience, including leadership within an agency or in-house environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic, cross-channel creative work.
- Expertise in:
- Creative strategy
- Art direction
- Campaign development
- Brand storytelling
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong understanding of:
- Digital marketing
- Social media
- Web design
- Experience presenting creative concepts to executive stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and developing creative teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting new business pitches and client acquisition.

Pay
$200 per hour.
Schedule
- Contract.
- Duration: Approximately 2–3 weeks.
- Work Arrangement: Fully remote.
