About the Role

Primary responsibilities include management of an assigned portfolio, monitoring of delinquent loans, and ensuring adherence to credit, compliance, and operational policies. This position will also be responsible for business development efforts and evaluating the creditworthiness of existing customers as well as prospects. You will prepare comprehensive approval packages for presentation to the appropriate loan approval authority.

Responsibilities

• New Business: Develop new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio, primarily from expanding relationships and referrals from senior business development bankers. Underwrite loans by analyzing financial information, preparing and presenting credit approval memorandums, and documenting loan closings (ordering appraisals, issuing commitment letters, coordinating closings, and overseeing loan booking). Increase deposits from clients and generate non-interest fee income through recommendations of interest risk hedging products, loan participation sales, and referrals to partner organizations.
• Portfolio Management: Maintain and service the assigned loan portfolio, monitor ongoing credit quality, and assess each relationship in accordance with policy, including completing annual credit reviews and periodic renewals. Ensure accurate entry of information to track and monitor portfolio status.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of commercial lending and underwriting/portfolio management experience.

Skills & Knowledge

• Understand the commercial marketplace within the Bank’s target area.
• Be well-versed with the Bank’s credit policy and guidelines.
• Familiarity with other products and services offered by the Bank for cross-selling purposes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written capacities.
• Willingness to assume additional duties as required.

Pay

Salary range: $96,089 – $177,069. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on factors including skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
