VP, Cobrand Lifecycle Marketing
We’re looking for a marketing leader to drive the end-to-end customer lifecycle for the Walgreens portfolio. You’ll partner with the Walgreens Marketing Leader and cross-functional teams to create high-impact campaigns that deepen engagement, increase card usage, and build loyalty among existing cardholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Portfolio Marketing leader to develop and implement customer lifecycle plans that drive portfolio growth.
- Design and execute existing customer communications to accelerate card usage, owning early engagement, tenured, and retention cardholder journeys while optimizing for Walgreens customer needs.
- Drive innovation in marketing programs to shift share of wallet and scale loyalty.
- Identify opportunities for a digital-first approach to differentiate portfolio marketing.
- Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Operations to analyze portfolio data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for card engagement, spend, and loyalty.
- Identify customer segments for targeted test-and-learn campaigns, curating messages and offers to deliver ROI-positive results.
- Manage end-to-end campaign development, including forecasting, results reporting, and automation of email triggers in partnership with Performance Marketing.
- Lead external agency relationships to drive high-impact creative while achieving cost efficiencies.
- Articulate campaign strategy and results to key stakeholders.
- Take the lead on special projects to drive portfolio growth.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school equivalent and 11+ years of marketing experience within the credit card industry.
- 7+ years of relevant marketing experience, including:
- Marketing leadership skills (analytic and creative) with significant exposure to consumer-facing programs/products.
- Experience with digital marketing.
- Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.
Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with marketing execution, particularly email execution.
- Ability to develop and implement actionable, measurable plans to drive business results.
- Familiarity with marketing metrics and key performance indicators.
- Strong project management skills.
- Track record of creative problem-solving and thriving in a cross-functional environment.
- High energy, self-motivated, passionate innovator, and customer advocate.
- Experience with Cosmos, Workfront, and other SYF execution platforms is a plus.
- Experience in the credit card industry, particularly the Cobrand Card space, is a plus.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $185,000 USD annually, with eligibility for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will be based on work experience, skill level, or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
Schedule
This role offers flexibility with the option to work from home near one of our Hubs or come into one of our offices. You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training, and culture events.
