About the role
For our client, we are seeking a VP Clinical Affairs to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a healthcare environment.
Location: Raritan, NJ - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $300,000 – $350,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global clinical affairs strategy
- Lead multicenter pivotal and performance trials
- Ensure quality execution of study timelines and budgets
- Advance evidence strategies for cardiovascular diagnostics
- Drive adoption strategies informed by laboratory operations
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs on publication strategies
- Recruit and retain top talent in clinical affairs
Qualifications
- PhD preferred with 10-15+ years in Clinical Affairs or Medical Affairs within IVD or diagnostics
- Significant leadership experience at a top-tier diagnostics organization
- Proven track record in leading studies for product launches and regulatory approvals
- Experience with infectious disease and cardiology diagnostics
- Strong understanding of FDA, IVDR, CLIA, and global diagnostics regulations
- Proficient in clinical laboratory operations and quality systems
