VP/BRANCH MANAGER II

Lead the opening of Sound Credit Union's newest Port Orchard location and help create an exceptional experience for members and employees from day one!

About the role

We are seeking a VP / Branch Manager to join the team at our new Port Orchard Branch. This role is ideal for someone with a banking or credit union background who is passionate about providing exceptional member service, growing community relationships, and coaching and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Focus on developing staff to deliver exceptional member service and provide efficient and friendly service.
• Lead and support the branch team to achieve individual and branch goals while promoting the credit union's image and growth in the local community.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a management role or demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field (preferred).
• Must obtain an NMLS license and serve as a Notary Public and Signature Guarantee.
• Must be bondable.
• Notary and NMLS certifications require U.S. citizenship or permanent legal residency (per WA State Law).

Pay

The target salary range for this position is $79,934 - $99,918, depending on previous experience and education. The full salary range is $79,934 - $119,902.

Schedule

• In-person schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM.
• 40+ hours per week as business needs dictate.
• Prior to the Port Orchard branch opening, daily work location will vary, primarily within Gig Harbor, Key Center, and Westgate.
