VP, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting functions ensuring accuracy in financial reporting following GAAP
• Manage and coordinate operations of the accounting department with direct reports
• Lead and motivate the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives
• Participate actively in developing the annual Department Plan in line with strategic goals
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and relationships
• Serve as the main contact for external audits and regulatory compliance
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with at least 7 years in a management role
• Expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, and budgeting preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience with financial and accounting software like Prologue or Workday is a plus

Pay

$130,000 – $180,000 annually
