Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting functions ensuring accuracy in financial reporting following GAAP
- Manage and coordinate operations of the accounting department with direct reports
- Lead and motivate the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives
- Participate actively in developing the annual Department Plan in line with strategic goals
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and relationships
- Serve as the main contact for external audits and regulatory compliance
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with at least 7 years in a management role
- Expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, and budgeting preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience with financial and accounting software like Prologue or Workday is a plus
Pay
$130,000 – $180,000 annually
