About the role
The volunteer will help transform the SMILE initiative into a structured, sustainable program framework.
Responsibilities
- Create an annual workshop framework aligned with the SMILE model (Support, Mentor, Inspire, Listen, Encourage)
- Develop recommended workshop topics and sequencing
- Define learning objectives and desired participant outcomes for each workshop
- Outline a program roadmap for the student journey from registration through program completion
- Develop an implementation timeline for launching and scaling the workshop series
- Design an evaluation framework, including participant surveys and measurable outcomes
- Propose speaker recruitment, community partnerships, and long-term sustainability strategies
Requirements
Experience in program design, education, workforce development, youth services, or organizational development is required.
