Join Enterprise Community Development in supporting residents through our monthly community food pantry program. We are seeking volunteers to assist with food distributions at Hollins House (a senior living community). Volunteers play an important role in helping ensure that residents have access to fresh, nutritious food items and are satisfied with their food distribution experience.

Responsibilities

  • Unload and organize food deliveries
  • Set up food stations
  • Assist residents during food distributions
  • Stock and arrange pantry inventory

Requirements

  • Must be physically able to lift 10 lbs and have no mobility barriers
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check prior to volunteering

Schedule

Volunteer commitment: August 12, 2026 – December 9, 2026

  • Weekdays (Mondays - Fridays), daytime hours
  • Pantry shifts typically last 4–6 hours
  • Distributions take place every second Wednesday of the month at 10:00 AM
  • Opportunities are available for one-time or ongoing participation

Location: On-site at Hollins House (senior living community), Baltimore, MD. Training provided. Teens and groups welcome. Looking for 2 volunteers.
