About the role
Volunteers play an essential role in creating a welcoming environment for patients, families, and visitors while helping bring our mission to life. Great volunteers bring positivity, compassion, and a helping hand—whether greeting at the front door, guiding families to departments, playing soothing music in the lobby, or offering companionship to patients.
Schedule
- Day shift generally from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm or 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
Volunteer Opportunities
- Hospital Volunteer – Greeting, patient companionship, and weekly patient activities; evening and weekend shifts also available; some roles require you to be 18 years or older
- Animal Assisted Therapy – Visit with patients accompanied by a certified pet
- Lobby Musician – Share musical talents to create a calming, welcoming atmosphere
