Volunteer: Website Information Architecture and Design Blueprint

About the role

We are seeking a web designer to review and edit the structure and design options for our nonprofit website using WordPress. The project aims to align our website with our mission and vision, improve accessibility, and enhance our communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interview the Faisal Foundation team to understand desired features, web capabilities, and technical expertise.
• Create a requirements briefing based on the interview and available information.
• Audit the current website to develop a draft of site architecture and design options, including wireframes, site structure, and visual elements.
• Collaborate with the Faisal Foundation team during various check-ins to refine the design and architecture.
• Prepare a final draft of the architecture and design concepts for sharing with a web developer volunteer or a member of the Faisal Foundation team.

Requirements

• Experience with WordPress and website design.
• Understanding of nonprofit missions and goals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the Faisal Foundation team.
• Technical skills to assess and integrate the Faisal Foundation’s technical capabilities.
