Volunteer - Veteran Outreach

Description

Veteran Outreach Volunteers are the front line of Operation Meraki’s mission. You will help us reach veterans and their families, explain our programs and resources in clear, respectful language, and connect interested individuals to the right staff or services. Depending on your comfort level, this can include in-person outreach in the Columbus area, virtual outreach through partner organizations, and follow-up by phone or email.

Qualifications

• Care deeply about veteran wellness
• Willingness to listen, encourage, and connect to resources
• Comfortable explaining programs and resources in clear, respectful language
• Ability to engage in outreach activities in person or virtually
• Commitment to follow-through on connections made
