Volunteer Toast POS & Online Ordering Setup Specialist

About the role

LoopRoots Foundation seeks a detail‑oriented volunteer to configure the Loop Foods menu in the Toast POS system, ensuring that all products, categories, descriptions, pricing, modifiers, and photos are correctly displayed on the Toast online storefront and match the in‑store menu.

Responsibilities

• Build the menu inside Toast, creating categories and subcategories.
• Enter menu items, upload product photos and descriptions.
• Configure meal options and modifiers.
• Enter pricing and set availability.
• Verify that the customer‑facing Toast storefront matches the in‑store menu.
• Review the ordering flow from the customer’s perspective and identify any needed changes before launch.

Qualifications

• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Experience using Toast POS, Toast Retail, or Toast Online Ordering (strongly preferred).
• Comfortable with digital menus, restaurant POS systems, e‑commerce catalogs, or online ordering platforms.
• Highly organized.

Skills

• Experience with DoorDash, Uber Eats, grocery retail, food service, product catalogs, or menu management is a plus.

Schedule

• Start immediately.
• Volunteer / Project‑Based.
• Flexible schedule; remote work with option to assist onsite in the Phoenix area.
• Estimated commitment: approximately 10–20 hours initially, depending on experience and menu size.

Pay

Volunteer position (unpaid).
