Volunteer: Survivor Healing Journal and 30-Day Guide
About the role
Volunteers will collaborate with our team to draft and refine a Survivor Healing Journal and a 30-day guided healing program. The final wording and layout will be refined with staff input. The journal and guide will include section outlines, trauma-informed daily writing prompts, and reflection exercises focused on safety and grounding, presented in a simple, accessible flow. Volunteers will receive program context and existing materials, with staff providing feedback and support for implementation planning. Timelines, audience specifics, and review steps will be defined together so volunteers can contribute confidently.
Impact
Volunteer contributions will directly expand Army Pink’s resources that promote safety, dignity, and connection to longer-term support for survivors of domestic abuse.
Army Pink Mission
Army Pink: Pathway to Freedom is a survivor-led initiative that funds the very first step out of danger—a safe ride—for survivors of domestic abuse. The organization turns compassion into action by helping survivors leave dangerous situations and begin again with dignity, support, and a path toward healing. Army Pink connects survivors with trusted partners offering mental health care, education, wellness, and long-term recovery resources. As a fiscally sponsored initiative under Charity On Top (a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit), Army Pink ensures donations are tax-deductible and used responsibly to support ride access and survivor safety.
Leaving abuse is not just about getting out—it’s about rebuilding a life with a safe way forward and hope. Domestic violence organizations consistently report that lack of safe transportation is the number one unmet and severely underfunded need, keeping survivors trapped in dangerous situations. Army Pink addresses this critical gap by providing safe rides and connecting survivors to real resources, making the escape safer and giving each survivor the support to move forward.
Leaving abuse often leaves the spirit broken. Army Pink curates a healing space designed to calm the nervous system and restore balance, offering survivors access to meditation, crystal bowls, movement, and trauma-informed yoga—resources selected to support recovery and resilience. These tools help survivors reconnect with themselves, soothe stress, and rebuild a sense of safety and wholeness, nurturing the part of them most deeply wounded.
