Volunteer & Supporter Engagement Manager

About the role

Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest (PPPSW) is seeking a passionate and strategic Volunteer & Supporter Engagement Manager to lead volunteer and supporter engagement efforts across the region. Key responsibilities include overseeing the volunteer lifecycle, strengthening recruitment and engagement in Riverside County, and supporting community outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of volunteer recruitment, vetting, and onboarding
• Plan, schedule, and facilitate volunteer orientations and trainings
• Communicate with volunteer site supervisors to collect timesheets and ensure accurate recording of hours
• Assist in developing new volunteer roles and provide ongoing coaching and support to volunteer site supervisors
• Oversee volunteer nights and administrative shifts, ensuring smooth operations
• Maintain strong functional expertise in the VolunteerHub system and manage volunteer records
• Coordinate community outreach events and develop engagement content for supporters
• Research and coordinate regional visibility events and provide support to departments overseeing agency contingents
• Assist in vetting new c4 Action Fund volunteers and developing in-person and virtual events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience supervising staff and/or volunteers
• 2+ years of experience managing volunteer programs, teams, or engagement initiatives
• 1+ year of experience managing and maintaining databases or volunteer management systems

Pay

$83,600 - $92,400 annually
