Volunteer Social Media Manager

About The Role

We're looking for a creative and organized volunteer to lead our social media presence across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn. You'll help us grow our online community, share our story, and amplify our impact — all while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit digital communications. Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar across our social channels
• Create and schedule posts (graphics, captions, short videos/reels)
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow our follower base
• Track basic analytics and report on what's working
• Collaborate with our team on campaigns, events, and fundraising pushes
• Stay current on platform trends and suggest new content ideas

Who You Are

• Experience managing social media accounts (personal, professional, or volunteer)
• Comfortable with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar
• Strong writing skills and an eye for visual storytelling
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
