Volunteer: Social Media Content Calendar & Copywriting

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Managing multiple social media channels takes a lot of our time, and we don't have a consistent plan guiding what we post or when. We're looking for a pro bono consultant with experience managing professional social media accounts to help us build a clear, repeatable process for planning and writing our content. By the end of this project, we'd like a one-month social media content calendar template, filled in with fifteen to twenty ready-to-use posts for use across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The consultant will: - create a content calendar template we can reuse each month - draft copy for fifteen to twenty posts across our social channels, recommending adjustments to customize content for each platform - suggest tools we could use to automate scheduling and posting This will help our team keep the calendar going after the engagement ends. Brick Road Life Skills Mission: We guide young people through life’s winding roads by connecting them with credible mentors who have already traveled those paths. Through hands-on learning and real-world experiences, we help vulnerable and at-risk youth navigate obstacles, discover their strengths, and build the confidence to chart their own successful journeys.
