Volunteer: Social Media and Communications Plan

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We're looking for a skilled volunteer to create a communications plan that links our website and social platforms to highlight events and our shop. Includes recommended platform roles, cross-posting and linking strategies, a simple content calendar template, and messaging guidance. Specific platforms and assets will be defined with the volunteer. We need to have an integrated plan for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Whatnot, and TikTok, tied into our website & blog. Our organization's website is www.collectibles4causes.org (we are tweaking it but it should be live again next week). Our website is Wordpress, hosted on GoDaddy. A unified communications plan will increase visibility for events and the shop, helping turn collectibles fundraising into greater support for youth charities and attracting new hobbyists. Volunteers will directly expand our fundraising reach and community engagement. We will collaborate closely with the volunteer, provide needed details during interviews, and participate in reviews so recommendations can be tailored to our organization and implemented.
